Ty's Homecoming

This was certainly a day I'll never forget! Ben's former teacher (AND his favorite I must add) Zelli is also a wonderful professional photographer and has been mentoring me a bit. I offered to tag along to welcome her husband home from Afghanistan and she actually said YES! This was his FIFTH (and last) deployment and she'd never had somebody photograph his homecoming. I was so excited and honored, I'd never experienced one before and well, this is a very special couple! It was just as wonderfully patriotic as I imagined it would be, and so emotional to see the love those families have for each other. Thanks to Zelli and Ty for allowing me the experience, and I am SO glad to see you two together again!  Welcome home Ty and thank you for your service!!
